Worst buffet ever! When we arrived the bar was half empty. We were told it would be filled but never was. We called the manager the next day and she blamed us for not asking for specific items and hung up on us multiple times when we got upset. I payed almost $20 and feel I deserve the choice of the buffet, that's why I chose this place. The food that was on the bar was old and cold. I don't know how this was voted the best in Brookhaven. This is not worth the time or money. Go to a convenience store and get some fried fish, you'll have better luck.
Horrible food but the manager is even worse than that! Food on the bar was cold, soggy, mushy, and awful! We asked multiple times for fresh food but no luck. We left this restaurant after spending forty dollars and went to eat elsewhere! Called to complain about the experience and was told it was my fault for not asking for a specific item. The manager is Peggy and she is rude! The owner was just as bad and blamed us for their bad food! Never again. I will tell anyone who will listen not to waste their time and money!!!!
Well, we had a 30 person reservation that they just happened to "misplace" with zero compensation for the wait. How ever the lack of professionalism is countered by really good food. The catfish is crisp and clean, the sides (potato , green beans and peas) we're all cooked perfectly. If you are looking for a busy yet laid back decent quality food buffet. This is most likely the best around. You would be hard pressed to find better for the price. This place would get 4 or 5 stars if it we're not for us being waylaid by jackassery.
Disappointing to say the least. I have been hearing about this place and thought I would give it try. What a mistake! The food was bad. Soggy, cold fish, burnt shrimp, barely fried oysters I mean the batter was just wet and soaked in oil. I have been to great seafood places, this is far from that. You expect better in south Mississippi where seafood Is King not a sloppy thrown together mix of trash on a hot bar. You should rethink your profession if this is the best you can do. I will never go back.
I came back for my husband. I got the salad bar (white lettuce with very little green) and paid $7.25 (or more) for it. IF I had wanted a dessert I had to add $2.49 so $10 for white lettuce salad and a dessert. PLUS, $2 for a drink! Having had a surgery on my stomach, I can't eat but a little at a time. I even have my medical proof of my surgery but no discount like most places. For me, it's not practical to eat there.
Only thing not friend was the Mac and cheese and the greens. They may have been better fried!! $16.99 for the buffet + $2.09 for a drink. Employees are nice. Quality of food was average.
